MISHAWAKA, IND. – A perennial  “Top 100 Technology Vendor” Data-Vision Inc. anticipates expanding its products and staff in 2006 to meet increased mortgage industry demand.

            The company, which provides mortgage technology that improves online efficiency and productivity for lenders, plans continued enhancements to its popular RemoteDocs™ and LoanQuoter™ systems.

            John Dempsey, vice-president of sales, reports that Data-Vision’s 2005  results, “met and exceeded all of our projections.” In 2006, he says, “we are expecting that growth to continue.”

            Many of the plans executed in 2005 will continue into 2006. The company will continue the Webinars and User Groups initiated during 2005  - to test company software, services and enhancements.

            “This test group, made up of mortgage lenders from across the country, gives invaluable input to our developers,” says Dempsey. “We want to give the best possible service in online lending technology, and to do so, we want to know what lenders are looking to do, and then improve our products accordingly.”

            Monthly Webinars will be ongoing to review products and developments. Dempsey says, “they are a hit and attract a growing number of clients each month.”

            Data-Vision interfaces with a wide variety of Loan Origination Software vendors and has developed a wide range of interfaces to serve the largest possible audience. One such relationship in 2005 with Dynatek, Inc., Livonia, Mich., will be the catalyst for additional  improvements in the way borrowers receive loan information, rate quotes, and documents. Data-Vision provides plug-ins to Dynatek’s popular MORvision® origination system putting software into the hands of even more lending institutions.

The plug-ins created for MORvision are a software upgrade that allows users to communicate with LoanQuoter, giving better customer usability and faster access to services. A plug-in was also created to give users better access to RemoteDocs™ items through MORvision®. 

            LoanQuoter™ allows lenders to connect quickly and easily with borrowers. Loan applications may be submitted online through the simple-to-use application process. The lender has the application immediately, thus allowing LoanQuoter™ to ensure fast feedback to the borrower.

            LoanQuoter™ takes the process a step further by allowing the lender to create a secure site where borrowers can see current loan rates and use “online decisioning,” which allows for instant pre-approval for loan applications. Consumers reap the benefits of Data-Vision’s relationships with Fannie Mae’s Desktop Underwriter® as well as Freddie Mac’s Loan Prospector®. 

            Due to its rapid expansion, many enhancements to the RemoteDocs™ system are also planned for 2006, including the continued streamlining of the sending and receiving process to improve the overall client experience. Other changes will enable Data-Vision to move toward a fully paperless environment.
